Publication

The Publications Section brings out books, edited volumes, proceedings of conferences and also publishes a series of research articles called 'NMML Occasional Papers’ (OP). The first publication Studies in Modern Indian History was brought out in 1972. Since then, the Section has published more than 80 titles on a variety of subjects including national movement, international relations, environment, gender, religion, etc.

The OP series consists of original research papers by eminent scholars and academicians across all subjects in the humanities and the social sciences discipline. The series is also a rich repository of original research by the NMML Fellows and invited scholars. This series was commenced in the early nineties and later revived in 2012.
