An in-house interactive educational workshop will be conducted at the Planetarium Sky Theatre for students of the District Institute of Education & Training (DIET). The programme focusses on stellar evolution and core astrophysical processes using engaging visuals and planetarium-based learning. It aims to strengthen conceptual understanding of astronomy while enhancing pedagogical skills, equipping future educators with effective tools to confidently teach astronomy concepts in school classrooms.

An interactive workshop will be held at the Planetarium Sky Theatre for Classes 6–9 students of Delhi Government Schools. The session will introduce the origin and evolution of the Solar System, explaining the unique features of planets, asteroids, and comets through age-appropriate and engaging methods. The programme will encourage curiosity and scientific thinking and will conclude with a safe, hands-on solar observation using a telescope.

An online webinar hosted on Nehru Planetarium’s YouTube channel to be delivered by Prof. Suprit Singh, Department of Physics, IIT Delhi. The talk will trace the journey from ancient celestial mapping to modern astronomy, highlighting how physics, mathematics, and engineering shaped scientific thought. Key highlights includes the evolution of astronomy, science-driven technologies in everyday life, modern telescopes and observatories in India, and India’s space achievements such as Chandrayaan and Aditya missions. Open to school and college students.
